<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Ted.<br>Thanks for this. Communication is very important element, not only from ISOC staff but from Chapters as well. The only hindrance is cost involved as some of us have to spend our own resources as volunteers, which becomes costly at times. But we hope that things will change if the proposal to finance  chapter operations and activities will be considered.<br>

<div>The issue of communicating  with Chapters whenever ISOC staff are in the area, working on an initiative or attending a conference, is an important one.  Our policy is to communicate our presence and activity before the fact through at least one of the
 many communications avenues available to us.   As many of you know, staff and chapter members work together often on these opportunities.  If however, staff doesn't communicate to chapters in such circumstances, this is an oversight and the exception.  </div>

<div>Our commitment to Chapters and the great work you do isn't just words.  We value our collaboration, our team work and our differences. We all can and will do better to communicate, to engage and to enrich the Internet eco-system.</div>
