<div style="direction: ltr;font-family: Courier New;color: #000000;font-size: 10pt;">
Elena,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>thanks for sharing this news. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I find it important in that we will have to be even more careful in the future, as this new lobby picks up, to make sure that ISOC's opinions are independent and well grounded, but also particularly well explained. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>In the past we have coincided in views with several of these companies, which are also organizational members of ISOC and whose representatives include lots of good friends and ISOC members (including some pioneers and stalwart Internet fighters.)</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Therefore I think that we must make clear to the world that ISOC is not a vehicle for yet one more "inside the beltway" lobby.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Yours,</div>
<div><br>
</div>
