Just to be clear: that is NOT what I had asked for when I wrote:
"Does ISOC Global, or the affected Regional Bureaus, have any
procedures or suggestions for such a case?"<br>

Thanks also, Eric, for your question about community responses. We
discuss such things locally - some with strategic people who do not
want to be quoted publicly. So what you say is clear: "If we did not
value community feedback, it would be trivial for ISOC to respond to
such incidents" - that mean ISOC Global acts, in principle, in
response to community feedback.<br>
<br>
Thanks for your comment, Joly: "While ISOC might hesitate as a body
to issue an immediate policy statement, there is nothing to stop
individual members or even chapters from joining in the chorus of
criticism."<br>
<br>
But my question had also been directed at the Regional Bureaus'
functions and actions in general in cases of problems or of a crisis
in the region.<br>
<br>
Even if the Pakistan Twitter problem may get out of the way, my
questions relate to the "next case" probably coming.<br>
