I think we need to look at the technical solutions to circumvent
censorship - ad hoc mesh networks, proxies, etc<br>
<br>
What kind of cheap commodity hardware and open source software
solutions can help people in places like Egypt?<br>

I can immediately think of a few:<br>

I'm sure people can think of many more - the problem is that while the
protesters are rejecting an overly centralized political system they
continue to rely on overly centralized communication networks and
services.<br>
