Annual Conference of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) associated with the
United Nations will be held at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Paris</st1:City></st1:place>
at UNESCO from the 3<sup>rd</sup> September to the 5<sup>th</sup> September
2008. To mark the 60<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights (UDHR), this year’s conference is entitled “<a
href="http://www.un.org/dpi/ngosection/index.asp">Reaffirming Human Rights for
all: the Universal Declaration at 60</a>” and is being organized in partnership
with UNESCO, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the
Government of France. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

governmental roundtable, break-out sessions are organized by NGOs. ISOC was recently
asked to coordinate a break-out session on <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>Internet
and Human rights</span></b>, following the high-level roundtable on Human
Rights and Human Security. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
