The hard part is knowing how fast is really too fast and when to say
whoa. I'm very excited for both.<br>
Located just outside of Mountain View in the Ozark -St.<br>
More variety than Moab, more beer than Syllamo and more courtesy than
Marin, the 7stanes are considered one of the world's premier mountain
biking destinations. For me, it was mainly growing up in church. It's
what identifies them. I understand that a member of New Found Glory is
on the album. I've never believed in recording old material, it's kind
of like giving people old news, you know? The area is very pro-mountain
biking. But this one really taught us a lot in terms of having a song
and how to really expand on a song, instrumentally, vocally and the
whole mind frame of it.<br>
We're trying to get feeling of the alignment of the planets. This was
purely a labor of love. As much as we always tried to push ourselves in
that band, I don't think we did as much as we could have. There is
undoubtedly more freedom in doing something under my name and without
either the politics or the dynamics and personalities of a band.<br>
He was really great at understanding who I was and the direction that I
wanted to go musically for this album.<br>
All the stuff is translating really naturally to live.<br>
When a site is deemed mutually beneficial it then has to undergo a
rigorous environmental evaluation to assess the potential impact of
opening the trails to riders. I expected it to be a little more old
school, but was pleasantly surprised.<br>
We have an area on the ship we can retreat to if we need a little
privacy, I believe it's called the boiler room. The cat's out of the
bag.<br>
I'm going back to my intimate music setting.<br>
I know that some of the songs that I like the most are pretty
emotionally raw.<br>
We plan on kind of writing the whole time because the momentum was so
good when we were in the studio that it would be a shame to stop that
all together now that we're on the road.<br>
It's our growth as songwriters and our experiences in the world.<br>
